FUNCTIONS OF THE ACCOUNTING OFFICE
The Accounting Office is responsible for coordinating and overseeing financial transactions within the university. Their duties include recording and accounting transactions, preparing and analyzing financial reports, pre-auditing and processing disbursement vouchers for various payments, managing regular payrolls and remittances, and handling financial transactions for externally funded research projects.
The accounting unit serves as the financial backbone of the university, ensuring transparency, compliance, and informed decision-making to support the achievement of its objectives.
