February 18, 2025 - Chancellor Prof. Lyre Anni E. Murao, Ph.D., and Vice-Chancellor for Administration (VCAd) Asst. Prof. Leo Manuel B. Estaña led a recent consultation session aimed at fostering transparency and collaboration with the university’s non-teaching personnel. The session was part of their ongoing commitment to keeping the university community informed and engaged in decision-making processes.
The newly elected Chancellor opened the program by warmly welcoming all attendees. She emphasized the significance of the consultation, highlighting that university leadership was present not only to provide updates but also to listen to concerns and suggestions from the staff. Chancellor Murao underscored that these questions, recommendations, and insights would play a critical role in shaping the university’s policies and solutions moving forward.
The consultation began with presentations from the OVCA on their recent achievements and initiatives. The VCAd followed with detailed updates on administrative improvements, financial management, and infrastructure plans, ensuring all units were informed of the university’s progress.
This consultation exemplified UP Mindanao’s commitment to the University of the Philippines’ motto of Honor, Service, and Excellence.
